Full Count Sports Academy will be hosting pitching and hitting clinics this Winter for both baseball and softball. Dates will be coming at a later date. If your team or individual players need a tune-up, this will be a great opportunity for them to get prepared for the upcoming seasco. Softball clinics will be conducted by Coach Steve Reynolds and Ashton Strode. Baseball clinics will be conducted by Coach Jason Sullivan. Full Count Sports Academy Sets Dates For Summer Camps
MARTIN (May 23) Jason Sullivan and the instructors at Full Count Sports Academy are proud to announce there will be not one, but two camps this summer. The overwhelming success from last year’s summer camp has opened the door for the first annual fun camp. The first annual fun camp for boys and girls, ages 6-14, will be held from June 23-26. During the three-day camp, the children will be instructed in games such as kick ball, soccer, flag football, baseball, softball, and much more. The fun camp will be conducted from 9 a.m. until noon each day and the cost of the camp will be $60 for full count sports academy members and $70 for non-members. Campers that register by June 16 will receive a $10 discount on the camp. Full Count Sports Academy members must pre-register to receive the above mention discount. Full Count Sports Academy’s second annual baseball skills camp will be held from June 16-19, from 9 a.m. until noon, with a fee of $70 for Full Count Sports Academy members and $80 for non-members. Campers that register by June 9 will receive a $10 discount. Full Count Sports Academy members must pre-register to receive the above mention discount. 2008 Fun Camp Registration Form Brett Perkins Signs With Union University
GREENFIELD (May 12) Yellowjackets standout Brett Perkins made it official as he signed to play baseball with Union University in the Greenfield High School library with his parents present in support of his decision. Union University Head Baseball Coach Brent Fronabarger and other university officials were also present for the signing. Brett has been a member of the Full Count Academy for just over one year as he sharpened his talented skills through the academy. Full Count Academy founder Jason “Sully” Sullivan stated that he supported Brett’s decision to play for Union University next season and he wished Brett the very best. Sullivan commented that Brett had the basic skills to succeed when he arrived at Full Count Academy, but we have since worked diligently on perfecting those skills because we knew this day would come.
